Frequently Asked Questions

• How far in advance do I need to book my wedding cake?
  The sooner, the better! Get it off your mind and into ours! Many couples are booking 6 months to a year in advance for peak months.
  
  
• Do you require a deposit prior to booking wedding cakes?
  Yes. Prior to booking any wedding, a 10% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit must be received and the contract signed. I am unable to "hold" any dates without a deposit.
  
  
• When do I have to make my final payment?
  The final payment is due 2 weeks before the wedding.
  
  
• How much do you charge for a Wedding Cake Consultation?
  The consultations are FREE and will last approximately 1 hour. During the consultation, you will have the opportunity to discuss your ideas one on one with me and address any questions you may have regarding your cake. Please bring any photos, sketches, or other ideas you have for your cake and wedding reception with you.
  
  
• May I sample your cake, icings & fillings?
  Yes, there will be samples at the consultation.
  
  
• Can I get a different flavor with each tier?
  Absolutely! I would be happy to, in fact, I recommend it!
  
  
• Is there a delivery charge?
  Yes. A delivery charge is assessed depending on distance, starting at $25.
  
  
• Can I make changes after I order the cake?
  Yes, I am happy to make changes in size, flavors, and decorations up to 2 weeks before the wedding.
  
  
• How do I cancel my wedding cake?
  Unfortunately, weddings do get cancelled. If the cake is cancelled prior to the two week deadline and you have made payments on your wedding cake over the 10% deposit, I will return that money within 14 days. If you cancel your cake within two weeks of your wedding date, no money will be returned.
